TRI-STATE RESIDENTIAL MODERN
1820's Manor Farmhouse in the Catskill Mountains, sited at the edge of a pristine creek with an ancient dam of hand-laid stone. The home has been full restored to its period grandeur while featuring purely modernist elements, including polished concrete and steel finishes, minimalist interiors, a cantilevered porch "floating" on the surface of water, and a towering wall of skyscraper glass in the kitchen overlooking fields, towering pines and apple trees. Matching roof lines integrate the original 1820's home with it's modern glass, steel, and concrete addition. The glass wall's brushed aluminum window frames echo the pattern of the original wavy glass windows.
